KIT #3 HISTORY:
Pete couldn’t believe his timing! The railroad wanted to unload a little-used freight dock and solicited bids from the community to purchase it. On a whim, Pete put in a bid for $25 and he won! (It helped that he was the only bidder.) The dock was in good shape, so he added a small storage shed on it, built an office and took out a local ad. In short order he had most of the smaller businesses in town using his service to ship and receive freight. The railroad saw an opportunity to make some income, so they now charge him a small fee to use the spur and make some money on the l.c.l. freight Pete generates. Business is brisk and Pete is considering adding a larger storage building plus more local delivery vans.
Kit includes everything needed to build the structures shown, including detail castings. It does not include scenery, figures, vehicles, freight cars, glue, paint, trackwork and benchwork.

There are so many details!! Thank you. This is one of the best priced kits for all you get. I’ve been building kits for years and yours are stand out. Much appreciated, thanks.

Trainmaster, couple of comments and one suggestion. I’ve been building better kits for quite a few years now, and your instructions are some of the best I’ve used. Pics are really helpful. The templates are easy to use and really speed up construction time on the more “tedious” sections of building. Suggestion – how about a few more videos on the website for the kit? Might be nice to see your weathering in action.
admin –
Thanks, Joseph for your comments – much appreciated. On the videos, they take quite a bit of time to create so we are a bit limited on what we can get done. A weathering video is certainly not out of the question, but we tend to do the construction ones for the modelers.
